I am an art historian and Fine Art conservator who has earned two master degrees with Magna cum Laude and who lends his skills and experience as an art advisor and consultant. I have held various roles within the world of art: from the Fine Art Conservator to the art historian, from the art guide to the painter, up to the gallery assistant, leading me to understand this world from as many perspectives as possible, working for art galleries, museums, auction houses, conservation and artists' studios in Naples, Rome, Valencia, London, Brescia and Malta. I write expertise about Old Masters paintings and I have experience in scientific dissemination on art, in setting up exhibitions, artistic management and promotion of young artists, art handling, monitoring of collections, realization of condition reports and cataloguing and of important conservations treatments. I keep up to date on exhibitions and art fairs, and constantly analyze the international art market. I have a high level of ethics, integrity and reliability. Buying art is mainly a matter of taste and passion, as well as to invest in safe havens. It is one of the most exclusive purchases among luxury goods because it requires not only economic availability but also a marked sensitivity to beauty. To make a work of art so exclusive are the same things that make its value so complex. Evaluating the quality of artwork, its conservative state, codifying its value within a market where many are non- transparent, knowing unwritten rules and practices to evaluate the right counterparts requires professionalism and commitment. These are my tasks. In addition, as a critic and art curator I help contemporary artists to move towards the creative path best suited to them by writing critical texts, curating for exhibitions and promoting their art.
